Why I'm working for TrueToniqs:
Since my 20s, I've always wanted to start and run a multi-national manufacturing business—world travel, increase the awareness of the role nutrition can play in reversing disease, creating a great team, and create products that introduce the world to the power of natural foods and herbs. TrueToniqs is my best invention yet.

What did you do before TrueToniqs:
Restaurant chef. Carpenter. World Traveler. Built saunas in South Africa and apartments in Australia. Massage therapist. Rolfer. Sold whole-food supplements. Wrote 3 books on nutritional cleansing that still sell on Amazon.

Favorite all-time Movies:
White Palace — Susan Sarandon and James Spader
Twelve Monkeys — directed by Terry Gilliam, former Monty Python
(500) Days of Summer — (2009)
The Five People You Meet In Heaven — 2004, Jon Voight, Jeff Daniels
Bourne Identity — I love Franka Potente. I want to meet her some day.
Frost/Nixon — the last 15 minutes were some of the best in movie and acting history
Avatar — 2010

Favorite Books/Authors:
Anything by Lee Child

What Matters Most at this stage of my life (besides dough):
Being free, as big as I can make that.

Favorite article of clothing:
Carhartt jeans, 38" inseam. Puffy coat. Heated motorcycle pants. Point6 wool socks. Yogitoes yoga towel.

Car I want to drive:
A Lexus LX10 would work. But whatever had enough headroom without me having to mod the driver's seat down a few inches.

Most compelling thing to accomplish by 2020:
"Do an Oprah" in Nepal or Cambodia, and create a boarding school for kids in some small village that could use the boost. Learn Swedish and French so thoroughly I dream in it. Get good at sight-reading piano so I can play that long intro at the beginning of "Harbor Lights" by Bruce Hornsby.

Memorable recent quote that came out of my lips:
"Back off, man. I do yoga."

Current most inspirational quote from someone else:
"None are so old as those who have outlived enthusiasm." Henry David Thoreau
"Fortune favors the brave." (from a quote from Steve Nash)
"To the academic mind, authority is everything and facts are junked when they do not fit theory laid down by authority." Robert Heinlein

Something that most people don't know about me:
I once hitch-hiked around the world for 3 years from 1979-82 on $16,000. And I was the keynote speaker one year at the annual world conference of colon hydrotherapists.

Why I'm working for TrueToniqs:
There is no history with TrueToniqs - no set policies and procedures, which makes everyday new and exciting!  It's been a roller-coaster of a journey, and I've never learned so much in 2 years.  The culture we've created at TrueToniqs is that we work hard but we also have a lot of fun together!  It's unlike any other office environment I've seen.

Favorite all-time Movies:
Away We Go
The Royal Tenenbaums
The Darjeeling Limited

Favorite Books/Authors:
Anything by Paulo Coelho - especially The Alchemist
Anything by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, such as Love in the Time of Cholera
Best book I've most recently read: Mutant Message Down Under by Marlo Morgan

What Matters Most at this stage of my life (besides dough):
Waking up everyday with anticipation to be inspired - living everyday to its fullest.

Favorite articles of clothing:
Lululemon yoga pants

Car I want to drive:
I'm more of a bicycle person.  If I can avoid driving I will - that's why I live in Boulder!  But my ideal car has my bike on top, skis & climbing gear inside, and can get me up to the mountains.

Most compelling thing to accomplish by 2020:
Spread world peace. Travel. Learn new languages.

Memorable recent quote that came out of my lips:
(One Monday morning after getting a moving violation): "This is bs... last time it was $15, so I will pay them $15. But I won't pay them $75."

Current most inspirational quote from someone else:
"Have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don't search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer." - Rainer Maria Rilke

Something that most people don't know about me:
I'm a secret spreadsheet nerd. I keep all my dream destinations on an excel file. I'd like to someday teach yoga and live in the South Pacific islands.

3. Moon and Sixpence by Somerset Maugham. Fantastic novel based on Gauguin's life.

What Matters Most at this stage of my life (besides dough):
I've been putting forth more of an effort to not stress the unchangeables in life... learning to "let go" of things that I can't control...
which has resulted in a fantastic and overwhelming recent peace of mind...and what matters most to me now is KEEPING that peace...

Favorite article of clothing:
Scarves and Blazers

Car I want to drive:
A rare 1937 Bugatti Type 57 Atalante Coupe....drive it along the Amalfi Coast thru Italy.

Most compelling thing to accomplish by 2020:
Get a series of artwork housed in a major Museum...or at least a solo show in NYC.

Current most inspirational quote from someone else:
"Nothing ever becomes real until it is experienced" -John Keats

Something that most people don't know about me:
Despite my love for the arts, I am a huge sports fan. Hockey, Football, Basketball, Baseball, all of them.
Also, I have disgusting affection for singing along to cheesy power love ballads from crappy big hair arena rock bands of the 80's.
